SalesForce Admin Job Opening in Irving, Texas - SalesForce Admin for immediate consideration please send your resume to job description: under general supervision, this position is responsible for configuring, administrating, and supporting corporate applications. working collaboratively across internal departments and stakeholders such as customer service, client services, sales, detail oriented services, legal, finance and operations, this position will develop and document business processes and system requirements. in addition, the incumbent will configure and test the applications to ensure the system meets the requirements and enables the business process and will lead projects to enhance and roll out new functionality or introduce new user groups to the application. essential duties primary accountabilities note: the essential duties and primary accountabilities below are intended to describe the general content of and requirements of this position and are not intended to be an exhaustive statement of duties. incumbents may perform all or most of the primary accountabilities listed below. specific tasks, responsibilities or competencies may be documented in the incumbent?s performance objectives as outlined by the incumbent?s immediate supervisor or manager. 1. responsible for the overall daily administration and support of one or more corporate applications. this includes troubleshooting system issues, participating in system upgrades, developing workflows, documenting processes, and providing technical support for users. provides expertise in the effective operation of the application. 2. responsible for configuration of the application. this may include creating or updating ui views, updating standard and custom fields, creating validation rules, and customizations to meet specific business requirements. 3. works collaboratively with internal departments in the planning and analysis of business systems requirements, system changes or enhancements. defines business processes as they relate to system enhancements. 4. develops and delivers, initial and on-going, power user training in relation to new functionality, configuration or system-related processes. develops job aids and provides documentation to support training activities. 5. supports the adoption, development and usage of application throughout the organization. maintains a high level of awareness of and enthusiasm as well as new features and updates as they are launched. 6. works cooperatively with other functional departments and stakeholders of the specific application such as customer service, client services, sales and finance, to provide technical advice and support. 7. as identified by business requirements, this position is responsible to design, create, edit and maintain reports and dashboards for both end user reporting and system audits (data quality, usage, etc.). 8. serves as the primary liaison between super users in the business units and the application support group. 9. receives, analyzes and evaluates change requests from user departments to determine cross-application impacts (contacts, accounts, etc.). work experience or related experience: the ability and skill to provide day-to-day support and maintenance for the application as described as normally obtained through a minimum of 5 years of hands-on with application implementations and administration. the ability to effectively assist with the management of process improvement and business tool development projects as normally obtained through 5 ? 7 years experience in project management and/or system administration. specialized knowledge, skills abilities: excellent verbal communication skills and technical writing skills, presentation/facilitation skills and strong interpersonal skills are required to perform the functions as described. a proven ability to present information, effectively interact with others and work effectively with diverse personalities is essential. the ability to work collaboratively across business units with diverse work styles to develop business requirements for systems applications is required. in addition, requires the ability to work in a small team environment, where every team member contributes in the identification of system requirements, and works toward meeting deliverables and deadlines. incumbents must be able to employ good analytical skills to perform needs analysis as described. additionally the ability to develop and implement actionable work plans to meet organizational needs is necessary. the ability to plan and manage one?s own time, while working on multiple tasks and projects is critical. the ability to work in a fast paced environment and handle multiple tasks/priorities and the ability to work under strict, specific production timelines are required. good organizational skills and a strict attention to detail are essential. ability to review and produce work output in web-based applications. knowledge of flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, and commuter benefits is required. a good knowledge and understanding of the company's products, services and application areas is also required.
