Primary Job Responsibilities Include:
Review and analyze all entries before input into the primary financial system
Review, analyze, and reconcile all cash accounts to ensure the financial integrity of the cash and investment balances that are reported to management
Responsible for the internal auditors? insights into the current operations of the Hospital
Provide supervision to staff- including hiring, training, job development, evaluations, and initiating disciplinary actions
Direct, monitor, and provide technical financial assistance to staff, department heads, and consultants
Minimum Job Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
7-10 years of experience in a healthcare or public accounting environment
Flexible and open to longer hours initially
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred or Masters of Business Administration (MBA)
Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
Proficient in interpreting and analyzing financial data
Position reports to the Controller/Director and CFO
