Clinical Director Job Opening in Raleigh, North carolina - The Clinical Director person assures that the quality of clinical services is maintained through individual and group supervision. The Clinical Director directs leads, develops, and monitors the provision of high quality direct care by all staffs. This position is responsible for the day-to-day management of advanced clinical practices and ultimately the entire company?s clinical activities. The Director leads and supports advanced clinical practice and advanced practice providers in their professional development, ensuring all regulatory, accreditation and clinical standards are met; ensure the agency is in compliance with clinical standards set by the Local Management Entity (LME), MH/DD/SAS, CARF, Critical Access Behavioral Health Agency (CABHA) and other regulatory bodies and identifying, measuring and evaluating clinical and department outcomes.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide supervision of all non-medical direct care staff within the agency.
Design and support the treatment protocols employed within the agency
Design and support implementation of best practice and emerging practice protocols
Assess potential/existing consumers mental health needs.
Ensure appropriate assessments for all consumers served
Reviews of service quality
Design and implement of all staff training(s), on-going and/or suggested one-time.
Monitor and track data regarding delivery and quality of treatment services, including data on core services, emergency admission, psychiatric hospitalization, and operational, service and personal outcomes and recovery goals.
Conduct/ensures preliminary/ongoing diagnostic (or clinical) assessments for all consumers, (including existing consumers), seeking mental health services from Quality Care Solutions Inc. to determine the appropriate level of service for potential/existing consumers of Quality Care Solutions Inc. mental health services.
Develop collaborative relationships with the LME Medical Director, consumers? primary care physicians and other providers regarding issues related to consumers/families and the local system of care
Collaborate with the Quality Management Director and Training Director to develop plans and protocols for new clinical and programs staff training and supervision.
Consultation with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Program Manager, and other Quality Care Solutions Inc. staff members to ensure the agency is in compliance with clinical standards set forth by the LME, MHDDSAS, CARF, CABHA and other regulatory bodies.
Review and provide feedback to the CEO regarding service delivery for all programs is performed according to standards set forth by governing bodies.
Provide clinical supervision to the Program Manager minimum of 2x per month.
Review all clinical supervisions conducted by the departmental program managers and provide feedback regarding supervisions.
Provide potential training to Quality Care Solutions Inc. staff members regarding clinical service delivery as directed by the Program Manager/Chief Executive Officer.
Serve as a liaison between the agency, the Area Program(s), and other community agencies.
Provide individual, group, and/or family therapy services to consumers as directed by the Chief Executive Officer.
Make initial contact with the consumer, and/or the Legal guardian/Healthcare Power of Attorney (if applicable) within 5 business days of receiving information regarding the need to complete a diagnostic/clinical assessment for potential/existing consumers of Quality Care Solutions Inc.
Complete all diagnostic/clinical assessment documentation for potential/existing consumers on the Quality Care Solutions Inc. Diagnostic/Clinical Assessment form within 3 business days of completing interviews with the consumer, their family members, and others participating in the assessment interviews.
