Sales Associate Job Opening in Newport, Rhode island - At Team One Newport we are looking for a few people for Part-Time Positions for our Retail store on Thames Street. We focus on the sale of foul-weather gear and crew wear for the sailing world. We pride ourselves in always trying to outfit our customers and aid them in staying dry out on the water. The position would be 20-30 hours a week, but hours are negotiable and flexible.
Job Requirements:
Knowledge and Experience in the Sailing or Marine Industry
Experience in Retail or Customer Service
Flexible schedule and ability to work weekends
Job Responsibilities:
Open and close store and register, along side other sales associate.
Assist customers with foul weather gear and other sailing needs.
Process transactions, returns, through the P.O.S System.
Fill merchandise orders from our warehouse, and sometimes deliver them to the warehouse.
We hope to fill the position by the 1st of September.
