Marketing & Sales Intern Job Opening in Evansdale, Iowa - DESCRIPTION:
Building Products of Iowa is looking for a part-time intern to join our marketing and sales team.
This position will work closely with the Marketing Specialist and the Inside Sales team.
The ideal candidate will learn all aspects of the business while developing new and creative marketing & sales techniques to drive customer engagement with our brand.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist with day-to-day marketing, sales and long-term strategic projects.
Assist with social media marketing, and the creation of direct marketing advertisement.
Assist with online media campaigns, email marketing, and creating literature for customers.
Assist with implementing Customer Relationship Management program.
Assist with the day-to-day inside sales activity.
Providing administrative support to the sales team.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be a college junior or senior majoring in marketing and/or sales.
Must be a motivated individual willing to learn and think outside the box.
Experience with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
Experience with managing social media accounts for businesses
Copywriting experience
Previous experience with Customer Relationship Management software
SCHEDULE & COMPENSATION:
Flexible with school schedule, must be able to travel to office in Evansdale, IA (Waterloo area)
Must be available a minimum for 10 hours during business hours (Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm)
Paid Internship - $10/hour
Eligible for internship credit with the UNI College of Business
