Leasing Associate Job Opening in Birmingham, Alabama - We are looking for an experienced Sales Star to join our team! We are a national property management company seeking to hire an experienced sales professional to join our team as a Leasing Associate at our modern community in Birmingham.
Duties will include demonstrating and leasing apartments through sales and marketing efforts. Must have a thorough knowledge of the local leasing market, competitors, and be able to analyze market data, generate prospects, and promote the property through marketing initiatives. Candidate will work with the Community Manager to ensure the efficient operation and administration of the leasing office; this includes performing basic Accounting work. Must have 2 or more years of direct real estate, retail sales, hospitality, or marketing expereince, as well as a high school diploma (or equivalent).
The position is full-time, and evening and weekend hours are required as scheduled. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills. Additionally, strong computer skills, including the MS Office Suite, are required. Experience using Yardi or a similar software program is a plus. Must have capable multi-tasking skills, the ability to work independently, have a self-directed work ethic, and be reliable.
