Staff Accountant Job Opening in Pittsford, New york - Do you have 5+ years of previous experience as an Accountant? A growing company is looking for a Staff Accountant to join their team! This person will report to the controller and will be responsible for assisting in accounts payable and accounts receivable. This is a direct hire opportunity with hours of Monday - Friday from 8am-5pm. This position pays $21-$27/hr, based on experience. This company offers an exceptional benefits package!
Job Duties:
General ledger reconciliations
Assist in month-end and year-end closing
Assist in financial statement preparation
Prepare various spreadsheets and miscellaneous reports
Assist in check run preparation
Payroll/benefits administration: must have experience!
Skills & Qualifications:
Degree in Accounting preferred
3+ years of previous accounting experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Detail oriented
