Accounting Manager, Beauty Company Job Opening in New York, New york - Our client, a global beauty company in New York is currently looking for an Accounting/Finance Manager to join one of their dynamic teams! This role is ideal for someone with 5+ years of full accounting experience. This is an ongoing temporary position with no set end date as of now. Candidate MUST be open to a temporary role.
Role:Non-Integrated Brands:
Monthly/quarterly financial reporting
oMonthly closing schedules
oLegacy/SAP mapping, uploading and reconciliation
oCorporate monthly/quarterly Reporting Package submission
Core balance sheet accounts
Material commitments
oBalance sheet key account reviews
oBalance sheet analytics - YOY, current to last quarter
oMonthly management of all topside entries
oManage all post close corporate requests/questions related to the results
Tax
oCoordinating all tax queries and reporting with the brand
SOX/Internal Controls
Financial Policy/Process
Statutory audit coordination and oversight
Third party accountant setup and standardization
Managing the manual re-bill process
Working hours: Monday - Friday, 9AM-5PM

o-Build next fiscal Plan
o-Manage current fiscal estimate and actual monthly closing
o-Management departmental reporting
o-function Invoice Management
o-Monthly management of all topside entries
o-T&E Management and processing

--White Space: new brand
o-Manage the third party accountant
o-Booking the new brand TB into SAP
--Ad hoc reports
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's required with accounting background
5 + years' experience in general accounting. working as manager/senior accountant with extensive experience of monthly closing (AR, AP, Cash reconciliation, Monthly Accruals, Cash Flow, BS analytics)
Good understanding of US GAAP and accounting policies
Ability to work in pressure with various stakeholders - external/internal
