We are a California based Company that has been providing high quality Industrial Tools and accessories directly to manufacturing businesses for over 18 years. Our company?s focus is to improve how our customers manufacture their products: Better, safer, faster and more economical.
We are currently looking for an individual that can effectively work with manufacturers on both sides of the border, with the majority of the calls into the maquiladoras on the California / Mexico border. Primarily in the cities of: Tijuana, Mexicali, Tecate.
Responsibilities
Build and maintain relationships with production managers, engineers & purchasing
Set-up appointments and visit customer facilities on a scheduled basis
Network within companies to identify and connect with key people.
Cold calling and research to increase market penetration
Identify current and future needs with customers
Effectively present and demonstrate products
Help decision makers select the best products
Provide ongoing customer support.
Negotiate sales terms
Requirements
Experience working with companies on the California-Mexican border
Decent mechanical aptitude for how tools and equipment work
Five or more years of sales with solid cold calling experience
Ability to interact with all levels within an organization.
Ability to build solid and long lasting relationships
Strong communication skills, especially listening
Strong organization and time management skills
Must have the ability to work independently.
