With rapid growth comes opportunity. We are currently looking for a Territory Sales Manager to be based in California who is passionate about leading territory sales efforts for Hygiena?s Diagnostic BAX? pathogen system in our Northwest region.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Create and execute territory and account plans to attain sales objectives
Drive new customer conversions while managing the existing base of customers
Drive territory opportunity pipeline development and execution. Manage territory forecast and product demand for efficient business inventory management
Provide first level of technical support in troubleshooting and establishing competency in running the BAX system
Record customer interactions in CRM database highlighting any changes in product usage or key personnel
Manage an annual territory operating budget
Coordinate and direct additional technical resources when required with the Technical Support Specialists, including BAX® system trainings and special projects in collaboration with Hygiena R&D
Build and maintain an in-depth understanding of customers' businesses and markets, including awareness of marketplace trends, competitors, business objectives for products and markets and translating these objectives into effective territory plans
SKILLS:
B.S. degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Biology or life science field
3-5 years successful sales experience in food testing industry
Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills
Demonstrated ability to build complex relationships with customers and internal partners
Ability to travel 50-75%
