With showrooms in Santa Monica, Pasadena, Redondo Beach, and Costa Mesa we now can say quite confidently that we have the largest selection of styles, sizes, fabrics, legs, sofa beds in the city.
The Sofa Company partnered with the best recliner lines in the US in 2010 and now showcases a beautiful collection of recliners in 4 showrooms throughout Southern California and distributed through the brand.
We are currently looking for a Sales Associates/Motion Specialists to join the team at our Flagship Santa Monica showroom. The ideal candidate must have sales experience, a strong desire to provide high-quality customer service, be enthusiastic, personable and positive. They will be a self starter motivated by a commission based earnings structure, and looking to work in an environment dedicated to both team and individual success. Additionally, we are looking for a candidate who is driven to continually increase their individual sales volume coupled with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
***A minimum of 2 years of sales experience is required! Experience in recliner/home theater sales a plus!
Desirable Candidates will be:
-Highly competitive, driven, and results oriented
-Have a proven sales record of being a Top Sales Performer in past positions
-Have a history of being successful on a commission based compensation plan
-Proficient with POS and CRM databases-Reliable, punctual, and dependable
Job Requirements (including, but not limited to):
-Proven sales skills demonstrated through high closing rate
-Strong follow up skills-Strong passion for quality customer service
-Open availability and ability to work weekends and holidays-Some knowledge of the theatre business
-Professional and friendly-Computer proficiency
-Problem solver and the ability to multi task
Job Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):
-Meet/Exceed sales goals-Extensive product knowledge and memorization
-Offer customers exemplary service through greeting, engagement and accurate product information
-Maintain the showroom to company policy standards
-Keep up with merchandising the showroom according to company guidelines
-Ability to serve multiple customers, find needs and make recommendations to build and close sales
-Participate in maintaining an organized and clean showroom
-Communicate effectively and professionally with customers, supervisors and personnel
Compensation: $35,000 - $45,000 earnings potential on competitive commission structure.
