Do you have electrical wholesale, business, mechanical, or customer service skills and experience? Do you have the power and drive to make a big impact? We are looking for a well-organized, service-oriented, and self-motivated individual for the position of Outside Sales. This candidate must have experience dealing with contractors, B2B channels, selling, marketing, promoting and demonstrating products.
We are looking for an Outside Sales position in Fayetteville, NC., who will be responsible for increasing business by generating sales to new customers, and selling additional products to existing customers.
This candidate will establish and maintain customer relationships, learn and evaluate customer operations to aid in identifying customer objectives, requirements, and preferences. (He) or (she) will process product quotations and provide continuous follow up throughout the completion of the customer?s purchasing cycle.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Identify leads, manage prospects and acquire new business.
Regularly meet with branch manager to review weekly sales activities, progress on goals, and status of prospective customers.
Develop and maintain awareness of market behavior and competitive trends and respond accordingly.
Achieve and maintain technical capabilities at required levels.
Attend customer seminars, schools, special promotions, and participate in sales meetings, vendor seminars and training schools to enhance and maintain personal and product knowledge.
Propose customer solutions ? not just pricing.
Job Requirements
Ability to exhibit a positive, friendly and helpful attitude with customers and to be sensitive to their needs.
Electrical wholesale experience preferred
Sales experience preferred
Able to meet deadlines
Excellent attendance record required
Customer oriented, motivated with excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Prospects for new accounts within a specified geographical territory.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Product and application knowledge essential
Confident and determined approach
Resilience and the ability to cope with rejection
Competitive streak
Self-motivation and drive
