Accountant Job Opening in Shenandoah, Pennsylvania - Shenandoah company is seeking an experienced accountant. Position is 1st shift.
Responsibilities include:
Ensuring the best practices are in place for timely and accurate payment of vendors
Make sure that cash is properly recorded, managed, and applied against customer accounts
Assist and manage annual audits of the company
Completing financial analysis
Audit invoices and deposits
Maintain a regimented schedule of reporting monthly cycles of analysis and internal audits
Create and maintain spreadsheets as necessary for manufacturing and other departments
Identify opportunities for improving service delivery methods and implement improvements
Provide monthly reports for various departments allowing for continued monitoring of budget control
Assist with budget preparation
Participate in the development and implementation of goals
Recognize resource needs
Recommend and implement departmental policies
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business.
Experience with QuickBooks
Preferred:
Goods related Accounting experience
Bilingual (English and Spanish)
