Service Desk Consultant Job Opening in Atlanta, Georgia - Service Desk Consultant is currently hiring for a help desk consultant. if interested, please apply with your resume to the it help desk consultant is responsible for providing subject matter expertise with service level agreements (slas). in addition to being a senior-level help desk detail oriented, the ideal consultant will have an understanding support for clients of varying industries in the metro atlanta area. this individual is a problem-solver and has a proven track record of working within a team environment to successfully address challenging user computing issues and is accustomed to leveraging technical training opportunities to improve their skills. candidates must be efficient and focused with a strong motivation to learn new technologies, management and maintenance processes. this position requires a minimum of three years of service desk experience, excellent knowledge of software and hardware. microsoft certifications, comptia certifications or cisco certifications. experience working with multiple ticketing systems. knowledge of windows 7, 8 and windows 10. mac os experience is preferred but it is not required. strong computer and peripheral networking issues. interpersonal skills required to effectively communicate with users and vendors. passion for teamwork, continuing education, problem solving and exceptional customer service. must be well spoken, outgoing, organized, detailed-orientated, dependable and flexible.
