Senior Accountant Job Opening in New York, New york - Senior accountant will provide operational support for one or more key accounts. This position acts as primary communication & operations liaison between Customer, Sales, Allocations, Distribution Center and Transportation. Also, this position will work along with CFO to achieve sales goals & maximize account profitability for assigned account(s) and provide effective customer service support and order coordination from forecast to confirmed shipping.
Responsibilities
Sales and Marketing as needed.
Perform daily general ledger functions such as cash and trading account reconciliation.
Assist monthly close process.
Manage operational relationship as business needs and strategize cross functionally with supply chain leaders and channel planning partners.
Provide daily, weekly and monthly updates regarding order status.
Prepare sales and use tax filing.
Requirements
Bachelor?s degree in business management or similar required with 3-6 years experience.
Demonstrated reliability and dependability in previous work history.
Professional demeanor at all times.
Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment.
Strong problem solving skills and team player.
Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, clients/customers & vendors.
General computer operation with centralized financial systems and proficiency in use of MS Office, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Strong oral communication and written skills.
