IT Analyst Job Opening in Coralville, Iowa - Job Summary
The IT Analyst job is responsible for the defining, developing, configuring and supporting computer applications and users. Employee is assigned the responsibility of implementation of Information Technology projects and support activities for specific departments. Individual interacts with all levels of personnel, in particular with users in various department(s), and with vendors. Incumbent reports to the IT Director and closely works with other management staff when needed. This individual serves as a technical point-of-contact for assigned functional areas and assists subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing, process documentation and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities.
Duties/Tasks:
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues ? desktop, server, and network level. Validates results by testing programs and software updates.
Respond to requests for technical assistance in person, via phone, e-mail or ticketing system
Define application problems by conferring with co-workers; evaluating procedures and processes.
Develops solution by preparing and evaluating alternative workflow solutions then presents to appropriate management.
Redirect or escalate problems to appropriate resources when necessary, escalate urgent situations in a timely and appropriate manner.
Support internal staff with report generation and data analytics.
Provide administrator functions for PACS, RIS, and voice recognition software.
Stay current on job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
Accomplishes department and organization mission by completing related tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Expected minimum of 40 hours per week.
Rotating call schedule shared with IT Director
Excellent Customer Service skills
3-5 years systems support - Windows 7 through Windows 10 and Windows Server 2008-2012
Healthcare experience preferred
PACS and RIS experience preferred
Nuance PowerScribe 360 expertise
Physical hardware experience such as desktops, servers, laptops, and printers/scanners.
Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and login scripts
Basic knowledge of wired and wireless networking technologies
Must be dependable and have strong work ethic.
Must be able to travel to our Muscatine office as requested.

Ability to maintain quality control standards and be HIPPA compliant
