Early Childhood Assistant Toddler & Preschool Positions Job Opening in chicago, Illinois - Early Childhood Assistant Toddler & Preschool Positions We are currently seeking experienced toddler and preschool part time teachers and to join our dedicated staff. Applicants should have prior experience working with children, 60 semester hours from an accredited college and a minimum of 6 credit hours in Early Childhood Education. Responsibilities for all teaching positions include team lesson under the direction of a Lead Teacher, coordinating and executing developmentally appropriate activities and curriculum, communicating with families and staff (both written and verbal) observing and assessing individual child progress and various routine activities such as cognitive play, gross motor play, enrichment programs and planning special events. Familiarity with DCFS regulations is required and experience in a NAEYC accredited center is preferred. We have part time toddler assistant position available now, 32.5 hrs. per week, 9:00-4:30, Monday through Friday. We have a part time lead preschool teacher position available August 22, 20 hrs. per week, 8:30-12:30, Monday through Friday. We have a part time assistant preschool teacher position available August 22, 17.5 hrs. per week, 8:45-12:15, Monday through Friday. Also seeking substitute teachers to work in all classrooms (Ages 6 wks � 5 years). A substitute teacher works on an on-call basis to provide vacation breaks, sick days, personal days, etc. to our staff members. Applicant should have 60 credits in college with at least 6 credits in early childhood education. We are located just blocks from downtown Evanston, the CTA purple line and steps from a CTA bus stop.
