Atlas NA supplies sonar, command and weapons deployment systems, mine warfare systems, unmanned underwater and surface vehicles, communication systems, underwater weapons as well as coastal surveillance and shipping guidance systems. We also offer comprehensive services in the maintenance and logistics sectors. We set standards worldwide ? especially in sonar technology. The primary goal of ATLAS-NA is to introduce the full range of ATLAS products into the US defense market and to provide technical and logistics support to those ATLAS products already in the US inventory. Our initial focus is on ATLAS line of Remotely Operated and Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (ROVs/AUVs) i.e., SeaFox, SeaCat, and SeaOtter.
Senior Software Engineer
Responsibilities
Responsible for development and maintenance of user-friendly application software for Sonar Systems, portable across various operating systems
Support in the development of firmware for microcontroller and FPGA based embedded systems.
Work in a dynamic environment.
Demonstrate passion building high quality software, solving problems and facing new challenges.
Qualifications :
A minimum of a Bachelor of Science in a Computer Science or a related engineering discipline (Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, etc.).
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience developing software applications.
The qualified candidate must have experience with Object Oriented design using C++, C, Win32/MFC, preferably in MS Visual Studio 2008, 2010, 2015.
The qualified candidate should have experience with embedded software / firmware programming.
FPGA development skills a plus.
Strong Mathematic skills a plus.
Experience with sonar applications and marine surveying industry a plus.
A hands-on problem solver with excellent software design and implementation skills.
Self-starter, flexible attitude, and ability to work independently in a small multi-discipline engineering group a must.

Salary: $80,530.00 to $128,540.00 /year
