Responsibilities Include
Process prior authorizations for our customers
Accurately enter required information (non-clinical and structured clinical data) into a computer database
Review structured clinical data matching it against specified medical terms and diagnoses or procedure codes (without the need for interpretation) and follow established guidelines
Identify best practices and finding better ways to process for our customers
Field calls from medical practices, insurance payers, and hospitals
Willingness to jump into known and unknown situations and figure out solutions
Skills
Experience processing prior authorizations in a professional setting
Experience in customer service
Demonstrated proficiency in computer use
Self-motivation and the ability to work effectively
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Detail oriented
Patient advocacy focused
Clinical or RN experience a plus

Salary: $14.00 to $17.00 /hour
