Office Manager Job Opening in Bridgewater, New jersey - Job Functions and Duties:
1. Schedules, screens and inputs new consumers into software (collaborate and icanotes)
2. Maintains the efficiency of office equipment, such as: computers, copy machines, and fax machines
3. Promotes cost containment through economical ordering and use of supplies and equipment.
4. Develops and maintains skills through attendance of staff development programs
5. Greets consumers, determines their needs and responds appropriately as directed by policy and procedure
6. Takes accurate messages and relays them promptly
7. Oversees the coordination of all consumer appointments to assure that scheduling is done to meet the needs of the consumer
8. Provides support to the clinical staff as directed
9. Properly handle medication refill requests
10. Transcribes, types and distributes documents, reports, memos, and correspondence as directed.
11. Maintains medication sample cabinet
12. Assists secretaries in their duties as needed
13. Supports customer service and performance improvement goals, collaborates with other staff to develop means of enhancing consumer care
14. Maintains strict standards of confidentiality
15. Possesses the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to meet the needs of consumers
16. Possesses excellent interpersonal skills to effectively handle problems that arise in the workplace
17. Attends staff meetings as scheduled.
18. Assess problems as they arise and handle in an efficient manner by reporting to proper personal while working towards effectively resolving issue.
Qualifications:
Candidate must have a degree in a healthcare field. RN or LPN preferred. Candidate must have five years of experience in healthcare setting. Experience in a psychiatric facility preferred. Clerical and computer skills are required, must possess a valid driver?s license. Other requirements are: excellent service orientation, teamwork approach, flexibility and organizational ability, detailed-oriented, and have the ability to follow directions and complete tasks independently.
