Position Overview:
This role is designed to be a hybrid of strategy consulting and agency account management with an acute focus on market access. This blend requires the incumbent to be smart, flexible, polished and detail-oriented. The roles listed below are subject to change.
Primary Responsibilities:
Project design and execution including primary and secondary research, qualitative and quantitative analysis, and recommendation development
Client presentation development
Account management activities including scope design, work planning, status updates, client contact reports, team management, and budget management
Extensive client engagement (e.g., client status meetings, client workshops, presentations, etc.)
New business development and support including research, presentation development, potential client engagement and meeting participation
Other responsibilities:
As an entrepreneurial organization, we value and leverage the full team?s brainpower in helping to nurture and grow our business. This includes participating in firm-building activities such as client planning and marketing program design and execution. We also expect regular participation in training programs to improve content expertise and jobs skills and the building of deep subject matter expertise in areas relevant to Market Access
Qualifications:
Bachelor?s degree in business, economics or related field
4-5 years relevant work experience in pharmaceutical industry
Understanding of payer marketing/market access is required. Pricing and/or health economics experience is a plus
Experience in launching a pharmaceutical into the payer market is a plus
High motivation, good work ethic, maturity and personal initiative
Strong oral and written communication skills that enable personal impact with senior-level leaders and clients
Strong attention to detail
Fluency in Microsoft Office applications
Candidates must possess US work authorization
Occasional travel may be required
This position is permanent and requires that the employee can be placed in our location in Montclair, NJ. Regular travel to client sites is also required. We offer a competitive compensation package with salary and bonus incentives. We are an equal opportunity employer.
