Outside Sales Representative Job Opening in Charlotte, North carolina - We are seeking a self-motivated, results-oriented Outside Sales Representative to join our team in the greater Charlotte market.
Experienced 50% growth over the past 2 years! Family-owned business and the 1st Outdoor Living firm in the Charlotte area.
In this outside sales position, you will be responsible for consulting with prospective clients and delivering the Metro GreenScape value proposition within the Charlotte area. Specific job duties will involve prospecting for new business opportunities and upgrade existing customers. You will achieve 100% of quota through implementing creative sales strategies, performing extensive customer needs analyses and site surveys, presentations, and attending trade shows and public relations events.
Responsibilities include:
Prospecting through networking events, trade shows, Social Media and cold calling
Consultations with prospects on design ideas, budgets and presenting quotes and payment options
Attend design meetings, visit job sites, and produce product lists
Keep clients and team members abreast during project construction
Provide weekly sales statistics and attend one weekly sales meeting
Requirements include:
10 years? minimum successful outside sales experience
5+ years? sales experience working for a high-end outdoor living company
Degree in Business, Landscape Design or Architecture a plus
knowledge strongly preferred
Ability to work a flexible schedule including some nights and Saturdays
Willing to attend 6 trade shows per year and attend 2 networking events per month
Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
Customer-centric with excellent communication skills
Must be able to navigate over rough/uneven terrain, observe and inspect outdoor spaces and can bend, kneel, and reach as necessary
