Inside Sales Rep - Outbound Job Opening in Marietta, Georgia - Under general supervision, the Inside Sales Representative sells UL Environment sustainability products and services via telephone or electronic means to clients in the United States. Sales are made through multichannel, inbound and/or outbound sales activities. May act as a sole sales representative or partner with Outside Sales to assist in meeting goals, penetration into new industries, increase revenue and brand awareness.
ESSENTIAL JOB TASKS:
Support sales team in establishing, developing and maintaining relationships with new and existing clients
Prepare and present sales proposals, book and release orders
Provide administrative support for clients, consumers and others
Route lead generated activities; tradeshows, advertising, cold-calling and referral programs
Prepare and submit reports, including tracking of order amount, demand forecasting and market intelligence
Work with Account Management to:
Understand client needs, decision making process and purchase criteria
Effectively scope, sell and implement solutions that ensure client satisfaction
Provide value propositions, handles objections and closes sales
Performs other duties as directed
Qualifications:
University Degree (Equivalent to Bachelors degree) in Science or Marketing, plus generally two years of directly related sales, experience in technical or professional service
Experience with sustainability, product emission testing, indoor air quality, Environmental Product Declaration, Environmental Claim Validations, etc... preferred
USCBC LEED AP or GA is an advantage
Motivated self-starter with teamwork skills
Able to communicate effectively and concisely in writing and verbally
A thirst to learn and understand services, procedures and protocols related to UL Environment
Actively participate in a team Environment, helping to contribute to success of peers and organization
Demonstrate ability to execute projects to achieve stated objectives
Experience in cold calling to generate leads and sales
WORKING CONDITIONS * Normal office Environment; some flexibility with working hours * Minimal business travel may be required
