Business Sales Representative (Training Provided) Job Opening in Houston, Texas - Real Energy Solutions, is an industry recognized and leading commercial energy brokerage firm that specializes in servicing small to large businesses. Currently, we're seeking career driven and eager individuals to add to our Houston sales team.
Real Energy Solutions (RES) was first established 10+years ago and has since expanded and opened various offices in major markets throughout North & South Texas. With capabilities of servicing customers in any deregulated market, our firm has also begun to make a national presence across the nation and we plan to expand our business with it.
Due to the recent and anticipated growth of our firm, we're currently looking to add to our sales force in Houston to prepare for our upcoming expansion plans in the Houston market. No prior sales experience is needed, we are committed to providing our sales representatives with the best hands on training that's tailored to teaching an individual not only how to excel in sales but also become an expert in our industry. Though no experience is required, we do have a few qualities we're specifically looking for in a potential candidate. Candidates must first be willing to learn, have a positive attitude, and be able to adapt to their surroundings. We're also looking for candidates who are looking to build a career instead of just working another job. Especially because our leaders are committed to going the step to assure our people have the best support and training possible to be successful here. Our strong training approach allows us to continue our hiring model and preference of promoting from within our firm.
We do have leadership opportunities available in our Houston market for the right individuals who come in and prove themselves in their first 6-12 months. Responsibilities & Focus:
Meeting and developing relationships with new and existing customers
Present and sell company product/services based on the clients current need
Provide excellent service to new and existing customers at all times
Prospect and contact potential customers
Resolve and offer ALL customers with a solution in a timely manner regarding any questions or concerns presented
Reach agreed upon sales targets according to deadlines
Schedule follow up to keep customers updated on the industries latest development & changes
Qualifications:
Strong verbal & written communication skills (English)
Able to talk and build rapport in person and/or on the phone with new and existing clients
Must be detail orientated
Able to work in a fast paced environment
Must enjoy working in a team driven setting
Have basic computer knowledge and skills to navigate a proprietary CRM platform
Have reliable transportation to ensure punctuality to are made
Pay: (Not Commission Only)
Competitive but stable pay structure offered where individuals can typically make between $30K - $100K+annually their first year (depending on their level of drive, productivity, and sales)
Mediocre sales agents make on average $30K - $45K/annually their first year
Good sales agents make on average $50K - $80K/annually their first year
Top sales agents make $100K+/annually their first year * We have a unique pay structure put in place that offers individuals an uncapped earning potential but also offers a sense of security and stability while stepping into something new
Our firm has implemented a different pay plan because we understand there is a learning curve and want to help take the pressure off an individual who is serious and committed to learning our business
The pay structure is similar to draw but acts more like an emergency salary because this is a set amount (decided by management), that is offered when commissions don't exceed this "draw or emergency pay" amount, but is not required to be paid back from future earnings like traditional draw
Agents DO NOT get both the "emergency pay" and commissions, they are paid either the "emergency pay" OR commissions (whichever is higher)
The "emergency pay" is also not intended to act as a "normal salary" but is there to provide support to those who are truly putting forth the time and effort to get the results needed rather than giving minimal effort and commitment
