Position Overview
Sweet Grass Kitchen is hiring a driven and ambitious Sales Representative to play a key role in driving the company?s growth.
If you?re the right person for this role, you have stellar communication skills, but know that being an effective communicator really means being a good listener. You have a willingness to learn, a positive attitude, and great organizational skills; you are someone who is self-motivated and has excellent interpersonal abilities. This individual possesses the capability to work well in a fast-paced environment and be able to juggle many accounts at once by communicating effectively, managing time efficiently and independently, and being extremely organized.

An initial set of responsibilities may include:
Generating sales on a weekly basis
Account management and impeccable customer service
Working with our Strategic Sales Analyst to identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities with existing clients; developing sales opportunities through field visits; soliciting new accounts; building rapport; providing client-specific value propositions; preparing proposals; and closing business
Quickly responding to internal and external communications
Contributing to weekly opportunity review with the Sales Team
Representing Sweet Grass Kitchen at industry events; occasional deliveries in personal vehicle; ?field? trips in and out of the Denver metro area that are occasionally outside of normal business hours (ie, evenings, weekends)
Execute the sales and marketing strategy established by the brand
Collaborate with management to improve sales and marketing materials
The successful candidate will have:
Bachelor?s degree (highly preferred)
Strong computer skills including email and spreadsheet software in a business setting
2-3 years of related experience in sales
The ability to naturally build rapport and close efficiently in a short selling cycle
A proven track record of hitting and exceeding sales targets (that will be verified when we contact your references)
A strong personal desire to do what it takes to achieve goals, i.e. ?hustle?
Experience using a CRM and databases (Familiarity with Quickbooks Online is a plus)
Experience in the cannabis industry is preferred, but not required.
