Associate Health Case Manager Job Opening in Birmingham, Alabama - The Associate Health Case Manager (AHCM) is accountable for case management of FMLA, ADA and Workers? Compensation case types. The AHCM is responsible for proper documentation , recordkeeping and communication among manager, assoicate, third party adjuster (TPA), Human Resources and providers of care. Additionally, the AHCM is responsible for planning, coordinating and implementing nursing care to improve the overall health of associates to reduce absenteeism and on-the-job illness and injury
Bachelor degree
Registered Nurse with an active license in the state of Alabama
Minimum of three years clinical experience as an RN
Experience in a position interpreting and communicating information orally and written
Knowledge of OSHA regulations for Blood Borne Pathogens
Basic CPR/AED certification
Experience with Workers?Compensation, ADA and FMLA case management
Certified Case Manager (CCM) preferred
Knowledge of OSHA reporting guidelines preferred
Occupational disability case management experience preferred
