Background:
PDQ Industries Inc. is a manufacturer of door hardware products for industrial and commercial applications across the globe.
Under the trademark PDQ SKILCRAFT , PDQ was selected to offer a full line of door and security hardware products to Federal Government customers.
PDQ SKILCRAFT products are given source preference when supplied directly to the Federal Government or furnished as part of a Government contract.
Position Description:
Directly reporting to the Director of Government Business Development, this position will work within a team of regional sales managers.
This is the 3rd hire of a program that will expand into 15-20 positions within the next 5 years. As this program grows, so will the impact of
this role along with the responsibilities. This position is responsible for the following core tasks:
Administering pre-defined software driven sales and informational campaigns organized to engage key decision makers.
Executing CRM tool to track campaign objectives related to opportunities, federal contracting officers, and other KPI?s.
Coordinating targeted mailings, email, and telemarketing campaigns.
Tradeshow coordination, follow-up, and reporting
Scheduling and coordinating appointments with architects, government officials, and contractors for sales managers.
Participate as program ambassador at trade shows (3-5 shows per year)
Ability to supervise direct report
Basic Qualifications:
Excellent verbal and oral communication skills is a must.
The ability to maintain positive relationships with team members, vendors, and customers.
Ability to work independently, prioritize, multitask multiple projects, and adapt to changing priorities.
Basic computer literacy
Ability to travel < 10%
Preferred Qualifications:
Desire to succeed in competitive environment
Ability to take initiative and work independently
Strong follow-through and organizational skills
Construction supply industry experience is helpful
Knowledge of Federal and State acquisition is preferred but not required
Ideal candidate will be a veteran or have GSA experience
