Job Description
The ideal candidate will have a background in supply chain management,
material handling, industrial engineering or something similar within a hospital
or other clinical environment.
Our work is project based and involves healthcare & hospital facility
design, process improvement, and inventory replenishment system assessment,
selection and implementation.
In this position, you will use your analytical skills and process
improvement experience to make a meaningful impact on the healthcare industry.
Works as part of project execution teams to ensure on-time, on-budget
delivery that exceeds client expectations
Serve as a subject matter expert during the planning, design, and
construction of healthcare facilities through the architectural process
Design and optimize materials management, supply chain, inventory
deployment, and support service operations for healthcare clients
Analyze the flow of materials and information through healthcare facilities
by applying a wide range of quantitative tools and models
Experience should include
2+ years of progressive experience as an Industrial Engineer.
A high level of proficiency in MS Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Word
Possess analytically sound problem-solving skills
Outstanding oral and written communication abilities
Think creatively and independently to solve challenging problems
Ability to manage multiple work assignments and meet tight deadlines
Knowledge of healthcare operations and/or healthcare facility design
required
Capable of traveling to client locations as dictated by the project schedule
Education
Minimum of Bachelors of Science degree in industrial engineering or related
discipline
Other
Travel to client sites to attend meetings, conduct site tours, and implement
solutions; travel requirements vary based on project needs, but over a year has
averaged 5-7 days per month
