JOB DESCRIPTION: We are looking for an organized and driven Staff Accountant to join our family owned company. The Staff Accountant position will work closely with our CFO, Controller and operations personnel and handle day to day bookkeeping, other essential workplace functions and special projects. We are multifaceted company that has to meet the needs of the client families we serve with multiple deadlines. Our company requires a person that is trustworthy and dependable to meet our client families needs.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
General Ledger and Financial Statement preparation for small sized companies
Accounts Receivable oversight
Life Insurance Claims processing.
MINOR RESPONSIBILITES:
Special project management
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Associates Degree in Accounting preferred but will also consider relevant work experience.
Experience: Minimum 2 years experience in General Ledger Accounting, with more consideration given for 5 years plus.
Other: Ability to multi-task and manage multiple responsibilities on a regular basis is a must.
Familiarity with General Ledger software MAS 100 or similar accounting software
Advanced Excel skills
Ability to transport a minimum of 40 pound bankers box
HOURLY RANGE: $16-$18 (dependent on experience)
