Pre-Press/Graphic Design Job Opening in chicago, Illinois - Pre-Press/Graphic Design Sir Speedy Printing, located in Buffalo Grove, is an on-demand quick printing and marketing company that has experienced explosive growth in the last three years and is looking for an experienced pre-press operator with digital and offset presses who has some graphics design experience. Our fast paced company requires the candidate to multi-task under tight deadlines, trouble-shoot and problem solve on the fly, be a strong communicator, have excellent customer service skills, and work in a cohesive team-first environment. The job consists primarily of pre-press production work, and involves some design and layout of print media (brochures, envelopes, business cards, newsletters, postcards and other printed materials), mail/merge and variable data operations, wide-format printing and eMarketing for our clients. The position requires a creativity and strong knowledge of fundamental design, layout. Attention to detail is a must. Software Requirements: � Proficiency in Mac OS and PC platforms � Major proficiency in Quark Express, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator CS4 or above, Acrobat, Microsoft Office. � Familiarity with mail/merge, Excel important and experience with website design a plus. Compensation Hourly rate, based on skill level and experience. �
