JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
The DCS is responsible for the overall direction of home health clinical services. This position establishes, implements, and evaluates goals and objectives for home health services that meet and promote the standards of quality and contribute to the total organization and philosophy.
COMPENSATION
$90,000-$100,000 starting annual salary DOE
$4,000 sign-on bonus

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinates and oversees all direct and indirect patient services
Provides guidance and counseling to coordinators and Clinical Supervisors
Provides help in assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patients
Assists Clinical Supervisors to develop skills and techniques in evaluating the performance of clinicians
Hires evaluates and terminates organization personnel
Conducts clinical performance evaluations annually, or more frequently if indicated
Administers organizational policies and procedures
Assures compliance with all local, state and federal laws regarding licensure and certification of organization personnel and, maintains compliance
Stays informed about changes in the field of nursing and home health care; shares information with appropriate organization personnel
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Registered nurse with current licensure to practice professional nursing in the state of Texas and good standing with all regulatory boards
Minimum of two years of management experience in a home health setting
Minimum of two years working in Home Health
Demonstrated ability to supervise and direct professional clinical personnel
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Problems solving skills
