Manager Decision Support Job Opening in Dallas, Texas - Experience and Education:
Bachelors Degree required in Healthcare Administration or related field or a combination of education & directly related experience. Three (3) years in a healthcare organization, management, business dev. or planning position. Knowledge of Hospital Cost Accounting & various allocation methodologies required. Master's degree in Healthcare Administration preferred. Healthcare-specific experience, experience in Eclipsys Decision Support System, & demonstrated ability to effectively manage staff and departmental functions with healthcare management experience preferred. EPSi experience is required.
Job Duties:
Develop and implement an effective action plan to improve performance in the department.
Meet s or exceeds financial goals and objectives of the department. Throughput and service line analysis
Financial analysis and modeling.
Budget preparation.
Operational planning.
Project management.
Performs other duties as assigned.
