We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Admissions to lead our business development efforts for two of our skilled nursing facilities: Bastrop Lost Pines and Elgin Nursing and Rehab Center.
Position Overview:
Position is responsible to build and grow revenue through inquiry and census growth. The position reports to the VP of Sales and Marketing and works closely with the Regional Sales and Marketing Director.
Responsibilities include:
Ensuring a smooth patient transition to the center, overseeing the timely and accurate completion of admission contracts, accurate communication to the clinical team and other department heads.
This position will develop relationships with existing customers within the general community and uncover and develop new referring relationships within the professional community.
The Director of Admissions will manage and train the internal marketing/admission team on tour and closing skills and customer-oriented completion of admission contracts. It requires the management and oversight of the marketing budget, marketing planning meetings and all marketing events.
Consistently uses IMPACT Selling system in all sales encounters.
Investigates all customers before scheduled calls
Develops rapport and trust with physicians and other external resources
Proposes appropriate solutions after identifying needs
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree is preferred
At least 3 years of external sales and marketing experience in the skilled nursing industry is required. At least 1 year of experience as an Admissions Coordinator.
One year of management experience is preferred.
Travel: Occasional travel required
Physical Demands: Extended periods of standing, walking and driving will be required
Attitude: An assertive, high energy personality combined with an empathetic outlook to drive to succeed will be essential to do well in this position
