Job summary:
Control and Instrumentation is all about efficiency and safety. As a Control and Instrumentation Engineer, you will be responsible for researching, designing and developing new systems and devices which will be used to control, monitor and regulate industrial processes and operations. This may involve aspects of both software engineering and hardware engineering.
Responsibilities:
designing and developing new control systems
testing, maintaining and modifying existing systems
analyzing data and presenting findings in written reports
provide electrical schematics, control logic diagrams, and operations documentation for equipment
working collaboratively with engineers, operations, purchasing and other internal staff
liaising with clients, suppliers, contractors and relevant authorities
project management within cost and time constrained environments
understanding and ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety regulations and quality standards
testing, evaluating, modifying and calibrating products and instruments
providing technical support to internal and external customers
Job requirements:
A Bachelor?s Degree in Electrical Engineering (or similar degree preferred) or relevant experience
Minimum of 5 years work experience in a related field with design and programming experience
Working knowledgeable of Industrial PLC programming applications
Ability to use E-Plan or electrical CAD program
Strong fundamental knowledge of control and electrical system design and its application in industrial test equipment including specification of vision, power, sensor and communications systems
Critical thinking with exceptional problem solving skills, able to work independently and in team environments
Proactive, resourceful and highly motivated with good communication skills and ability to work in a diverse product output environment
Ability to balance multiple projects
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $80,000.00 to $95,000.00 /year
Required education:
Bachelor's
Required experience:
