Advances skills in Pivot Tables, V Lookups, and Pie Charts. ob Title ?Analyst, Financial Systems Job Description Summary: This position will report into the Supervisor, Financial Systems and become an integral part of the Finance Operations and Systems (FOS) team. The FOS team liaises cross-functionally, sharing responsibility for the implementation, maintenance, modification, improvement, and access and governance of financial accounting and reporting systems with the goal of ensuring the accurate recognition and reporting of financial activity. FOS is a business partner to the Global Finance organization, providing training and issue resolution and has a key role in influencing Integration and Continuous Improvement projects. This role provides both process and technology support for Global Finance systems including SAP, BI/BW, BPC and Qlikview. This role works directly with the finance community to understand business needs, create and deliver solutions, ensure data integrity and train users. Additionally, this position will be responsible for identifying potential process improvements and working with users to understand and realize those benefits. Core responsibilities include but are not limited to: * Develop, troubleshoot and support global Finance reporting through SAP Business Warehouse (BI/BW) and Qlikview * Provide finance support in SAP BPC planning tool and Qlikview * Become the subject matter data expert in all areas of Finance by understanding the data and flow from system to system * Work closely with the IT organization to resolve technical data issues in a timely manner * Serve as the control point for Finance BI/BW/BPC and other system reports, IM tickets, master data and security profiles/training * Proactively learn new technology and train finance user community * Participate in special Finance projects as needed Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting (preferred) or Information Systems (considered) * Minimum of 3 years relevant Finance/Accounting experience * Ability to quickly adapt, learn new systems, new concepts and apply them as needed * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Strong attention to detail and the ability to logically think through complex accounting/system issues to identify solutions * Strong Microsoft Excel skills * Ability to work independently and in a team environment Preferred: * Direct SAP/BW/BPC experience * Qlikview experience * Financial, analytical and detailed business understanding and related reporting in various Finance areas, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Intercompany and Fixed Assets * Ability to travel (15%) ? BD offices, Training courses (including several weeks early in assignment)
