JOB SUMMARY:
Operations Systems Analyst is responsible for maintaining the technology systems that supports LPC operations. This role will support and work independently across several different systems and platforms for internal and client demands.
This role will be part of the growing Corporate Operations team that is dedicated to improving how we deliver services to our clients and improve internal processes in a fun and successful workplace. This role will work closely with cross-functional project teams and corporate IT teams to develop strategies to improve current systems and drive business analytics.
A love for technology and a desire for continual improvement is a must. Strong communication skills coupled with an overall understanding of business process provides the winning combination for this opportunity. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain features and functionalities existing technology platforms, including SharePoint and work order & preventive maintenance (WO & PM) platforms
Identify methods to integrate different platforms to provide insight into business operations, including SharePoint, WO & PM platforms, accounting, leasing and construction systems
Communicate with cross-disciplinary teams to interpret business requirements, create framework to achieve goals and determine most efficient and appropriate solution(s)
Assist system training plans and user guides for internal end-users
Strong project management skills
Communicate plans for acquiring, and implementing software systems
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
No formal supervisory responsibilities but may provide informal guidance and/or training to co-workers.
EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology or similar experience from an accredited institution is preferred
Four or more years of experience working with cloud-based platforms, such as Sharepoint and preventive maintenance & work order systems
Experience in real estate is a plus
Ability to take complex IT/IS terminology and communicate effectively to non-IT/IS professionals
Ability to complete a combination of short-term needs, while managing long-term projects
Excellent time management and prioritization skills
Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail
Strong customer service orientation and effective in interfacing with internal customers
Capacity to thrive in a rapidly changing environment
Willingness to expand and self-educate in various IT/IS topics
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
COMMUINICATION SKILLS
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to effectively communicate with and provide efficient, timely, reliable, and courteous response to internal teams
Ability to effectively present information to small or large groups.
Trusted to confidentially handle sensitive information.
