Staff Accountant - Construction Job Opening in Atlanta, Georgia - Reputable General Contractor headquartered in the Cumberland / Galleria area is growing and in search of a Construction Accountant. This will be a Rotational role designed to provide an overall education in Construction Operations and Finance.
This position is ideal for an individual who has completed their degree in Accounting or Finance and has a minimum of one year of experience in any industry. No prior Construction industry experience is required. This will be a hands on mentored position where the selected individual will learn all aspects of Commercial Construction Operations including Estimating, Project Accounting, Working with Lenders and Payroll.

Growth from this role can go in several directions to include Project or Corporate Controller, Project Manager, Operations Manager or Estimator.

Construction Staff Accountant Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance
A minimum of one year of work experience (Audit, Staff Accountant, Analyst, etc.)
Desire to work in the Commercial Construction field leveraging your finance experience
Proficiency with MS Office; ability to learn and master new systems.
