Duties:
Maintains accounting records by making entries, maintaining account balances; filing documents.
Reconciles statements by comparing statements with general ledger.
Responsible for all banking activity.
Supervises and assists Accounts Payable.
Protects organization by keeping information confidential & ensuring data is entered/recorded accurately.
Prepares accounting reports as needed for management to create financials.

College degree in Accounting/Finance REQUIRED
and/or industry specific equivalent work experience a plus
Professional attitude, be exceptionally organized, and have the ability to work independently and in a team environment
Ability to work under pressure and with strict deadlines
Exceptional computer skills to include database and Microsoft Office
Experience with QuickBooks or other accounting software
Knowledge of standard accounting practices REQUIRED
Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential
Ability to manage multiple tasks and adjust to changing priorities
