WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
An entry level business service representative to establish and maintain strong relationships with clients throughout the sales cycle and be responsible for converting straightforward price and RFQ inquiries per customer expectations. It will be the responsibility of the CSR to proactively follow up on leads to convert quotations into orders. The CSR must be able to articulate Element testing to both business and technical users. Must be able to identify all technical requirements of assigned accounts to assure quotations are complete and professional. It is a responsibility to assure customer satisfaction. In addition to client relations, this role will interact with the Inside Sales Manager, Element Sales Team, General Manager, and lab personnel.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Quotation Management, Prepare straightforward price and request for quotes (RFQ) per customer/market expectations; consulting with technical experts, and other technical staff within Element as needed
Enter quotations into CRM system and into Microsoft AX software
Identify current and future customer service requirements by establishing a personal rapport with potential and actual customers, acting as a liaison between the customers and Element.
Proactively develops contacts and services customers using phone, email, web conferencing
Achieves goals by converting and generation of quotes
When applicable handles requests for information (e.g., shipping/delivery dates)
Actively utilizes CRM to record activities, ensuring contact details are accurate, duplicates are removed, new information is added and accurate call/visit logs are entered
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma required. Associates/Bachelor?s degree in Sales or Business highly preferred.
1-3 years of customer service/sales responsibility.
Other Skills and Abilities
Experience in interpreting testing procedures and requirements.
Proficiency in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel)
Availability, flexibility, and maturity to represent the company at a broad range of events/projects in the community, with customers and within the company.
Ability to remain calm when faced with mounting pressure related to deadlines and multiple priorities.
Well-developed oral and written communication skills to meet a variety of communication needs. Good interpersonal skills that foster open upward and downward communication built on mutual respect.
Ability to interface with clients, win new work and determine their requirements; helps develops proposals including cost estimates, work plan and terms and conditions.
