Position Overview
To plan and carry out all sales activities for assigned accounts, markets or regions. Responsible for meeting sales goals, managing existing accounts and developing new business.
Primary Functions and Responsibilities
Execute company sales plans and strategies
Gather and communicate market information including trends, customers and competitors
Study and develop sales strategies to generate new leads
Document activities, communication and maintain customer database
On-site office and plant visits for sales, service, lab studies and training
Act as a consultant to provide solutions for our customers
Meet or exceed expectations for sales, activity and self-development
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of reactive polymers, dispensing equipment and automation is beneficial
Familiarity with automotive, electronics and appliance markets is a plus
Maintain and service existing accounts while recognizing new applications and business in related industries
Good mathematical, analytical and problem-solving skills
Remains composed under pressure
Must demonstrate excellent organizational skills essential for productivity, time and expense management
Highly motivated, independent, self-driven, creative and optimistic
Able to coordinate and present market analysis
Improves professional and technical knowledge by attending educational events, reviewing professional publications and establishing personal networks
Minimum Qualifications
Experience in technical sales or equivalent degree
Competency with MS Office and CRM software
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
Confident and comfortable speaking on all levels of an organization
Work Environment
Capable of travel up to 50%
