HVAC Service Dispatcher Job Opening in Reno, Nevada - Job Purpose
The Service Dispatcher works with the service department to provide quality service and support in a variety of areas including, but not limited to, scheduling, customer inquiries, accounting, data entry and other duties as assigned. The Service Dispatcher will deliver the highest level of customer service to internal and external customers.
Primary duties:
Talk with customers to schedule calls
Route technicians
Debrief technicians
Handle payroll for technicians
Enter, initiate, follow progress, and close calls in the computer
File
Keep data correct in computer
Dispatch techs
Scan paper work
Put scan paper work into computer as an attachment to the file
Make new files
Send maintenance agreement renewals once a month
Emails for scheduling purposes
Call to schedule maintenance checks when needed
Order parts as needed
Customer follow up as needed
Secondary duties:
Answer phones
Help customer service reps when needed
Help team leaders when needed
Other tasks as requested
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Two years dispatch experience
Accurately enter data into the computer
Ability to multi-task
Ability to represent Sierra Air Inc. in a professional manner with customers, vendors, staff and the general public
Organized and detail oriented
Ability to work under pressure
Must have valid drivers? license and a good driving record
Adaptability?the individual adapts to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events
