Regional Sales Representative Job Opening in Portland, Oregon - We are one of the largest recreational cannabis edibles processors in the Pacific Northwest with a portfolio of industry-leading brands. Our business is growing fast and we are searching to find a candidate that can help us scale in Oregon as we continue to focus on building revenue, customer service and long-term brand equity.
This new industry begs for unconventional approaches to all facets of sales and customer service, so we are looking for high-energy, engaging, adaptable team members who will contribute to the company by nurturing and growing our store relationships. This job will predominantly require visiting stores and generating sales, as well as supporting promotions, aiding in the design and production of sales materials, and gathering consumer feedback. Due to the regulatory nature of this industry and the importance of brand reputation, it is critical that all rules and regulations are complied with, so trustworthiness and reliability is a must in any potential candidate. Lastly, the perfect candidate will represent the company with unmatched professionalism as a contributor to the community and industry.
Key responsibilities:
-Manage and develop relationships with a portfolio of stores in Oregon state with frequent visits and calls
-Ensure stores are familiar with products, pricing, promotions and brand positioning
-Analyze industry data and account information to create business strategies with retail partners
-Manage in-store displays and merchandising
-Work with stores to launch new products and ensure their success
-Manage in-store promotions in retail space by engaging with consumers and store-level personnel
-Produce sales collateral as needed with marketing team to increase brand visibility and leverage the entire portfolio
If you're the right person for this job, you will be:
-Based in Portland, Oregon with the ability and willingness to commute to accounts in all regions of the state
-Experienced with direct sales (3+ years experience preferred), especially with independent stores and building brands during their growth stage
-Engaging and personable, great at building relationships, a strong communicator
-Energetic, hardworking, and willing to collaborate and identify solutions
-Adaptable with the ability to think on your feet
-Numerate and a good negotiator
-Organized and able to manage time efficiently
-Professional and trustworthy
-Enthusiastic and knowledgeable about cannabis with excitement towards this growing industry
-21+ years of age
