Qualtiy Manager/Compliance Officer Job Opening in Marlette, Michigan - POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for developing, leading, implementing, maintaining and evaluating the hospital?s quality assurance programs including patient safety, safety, customer satisfaction, organizational development, performance improvement, bodies and corporate compliance. Also responsible for coordination of internal performance improvement activities, leads and serves as a model for identifying opportunities for improvement throughout the organization, managing activities necessary to ensure appropriate utilization of the hospital and its resources while maintaining optimal achievable standards of patient care, as well as working collaboratively with the medical staff, managers, leadership and staff to identify and develop programs that improve the quality of the organization and support process improvement goals. Contributes to the organizations mission and vision by planning, designing, studying and assessing hospital-wide performance improvement and survey readiness programs.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION: Associates degree in related program required. Bachelor?s degree preferred. Must have previous education in Corporate Compliance or maintain within two years of employment.
: Current State of Michigan RN licensure. Basic Life Support certification required.
EXPERIENCE: Three or more years of previous experience in organizational development, management, patient safety, and quality in a health care organization.
REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with a variety of people from diverse backgrounds. This may include direct contact with administrative team, board of trustees, department managers, hospital staff, medical staff, patients and representatives of local, state, and federal healthcare resources and agencies
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision effectively managing multiple priorities
Must have the ability to objectively analyze data
Must have organizational skills to prepare reports and gather supporting documents
Excellent communication, critical thinking, organizational and leadership skills
A high degree of ingenuity, initiative and judgment
