Emergency and Disaster Preparedness Coordinator (Part Time) Job Opening in Seattle, Washington - Indeed Hire in partnership with The Polyclinic in locating an Emergency and Disaster Preparedness Coordinator (Part Time) to join their team in Seattle, WA (Madison Center).
POSITION OBJECTIVE:
To develop and maintain programs which enable The Polyclinic to successfully respond to any internal or external disaster. To work with community partners, internal and external customers, and regulatory agencies to develop programs ensure The Polyclinic maintains compliance.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Bachelor?s of Nursing required
Certification / Licensure: Current R.N. License. Certification or Degree in Emergency Management preferred, but not required.
Experience: Three(+) years of management experience required in healthcare, with at least 2 years in outpatient operations. One years? experience in Disaster Preparedness or Emergency Management preferred.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Disaster Preparedness and Business Continuity
Develop disaster response programs and provide ongoing training to all managers.
Update all disaster training materials with quarterly training as needed.
Conduct disaster drills according to department and regulatory agency guidelines. Provides support to 12 sites.
Actively attend and participate with Northwest Healthcare Response Network to ensure the most up to date information is available and meet regulatory requirements on collaboration.
Work with department managers assisting them with the development of business continuity plans and training for them and their departments.
