Senior Director of Human Resources Job Opening in Fredericksburg, Virginia - Thriveworks, a fast-growing national chain of counseling practices (45+ locations), is looking for a Director of Human Resources to join our growing team at our headquarters in Lynchburg, VA.
Duties of this role include:
Recruiting and hiring high-performing employees
Implementation of updating of policies and procedures including: workplace safety, labor, legislative and other human resources issues.
Create, implement, and manage organizational development programs, employee orientation and training programs, benefits plans, policies and guidelines, database management procedures, equal opportunity employment programs, and employee records and documentation policies.
Evaluating effectiveness through compiling and analyzing data, and prepare and distribute various reports on HR metrics to ensure company needs are met.
Ensuring compliance with federal, state and local laws and industry regulations, advising department managers on legal implications of HR issues related to discipline and employee grievances.
Utilizing technology to enhance and measure the results of human resources programs
Leveraging advanced knowledge and skills to succeed as HR Director
Required Experience:
A successful candidate will demonstrate a track record of building a positive company culture, successful HR appointments, and excellent recruitment. Special consideration for applicants with documented experience in a healthcare setting.
