Fleet Transportation Insurance Sales Agent Job Opening in Waverly, Iowa - We are looking to add to our growing team of Fleet Transportation Line Insurance Sales. These Independent Contractors will be primarily responsible for developing new commercial transportation fleet business of 10 units and above through the direct sales process.
The preferred candidate will possess a unique blend of entrepreneurial spirit, creativity and analytical capability, in addition to insurance business and product development experience.
Key attributes of a successful person in the role are:
Must have proven commercial and/or transportation insurance sales experiences. Minimum 3-5 years.
Ability to excel at developing strong relationships with internal and external customers and possess the ability to manage their workload independently.
Expert knowledge of insurance products, including associated technical processes and concepts.
Above average analytical skills, attention to detail, and mathematical ability.
Cultivate relationships with decision makers of the customer base.
Develop target markets.
Identify strategic opportunities in new market areas.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Insurance designations are a plus.
Willing to travel.
Corporate Headquarters are in Waverly, Iowa, but this position can work out of any location.
We will give you house accounts in your local market to get you started in the journey of growing your book of business. We also provide a draw to start. Income potential is unlimited and not capped.
