OPTICAL MANAGER Job Opening in seattle, Washington - OPTICAL MANAGER Eye Associates Northwest, PC is a premiere multi-specialty ophthalmology group with 15 board-certified Ophthalmologists and Optometrists. We are currently seeking an Optical Manager who will oversee all optical and contact lens departments at multiple locations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Optical with management experience and will possess excellent communication skills, sales and retail knowledge, be technically skilled in the field of optical and be able to travel to all locations frequently. Job Summary: Oversee and lead optical staff in daily operations, purchasing, inventory and the development and implementation of related programs. Manage personnel needs including coaching, developing and motivating staff. Actively lead the department with sales and marketing efforts. Develop and implement an annual business plan. Qualifications: ? Associate degree or equivalent from a two year college or technical school ? LDO preferred ? Minimum five years experience in a medical practice and two years in an ophthalmology practice with an optical department or five years of retail optical experience ? Strong computer and typing skills ? Competency in Microsoft Word? and Excel? ? Attention to detail ? Punctuality and good attendance ? Excellent communication and leadership skills ? Ability to problem solve, multi task, and develop new protocols and policies. ?
