Campus Corps Team Leader Job Opening in missoula, Montana - Campus Corps Team Leader Job Title: Campus Corps Service Team Leader (AmeriCorps Position) Organization: The Office for Civic Engagement (OCE) Job Objective: ? Provide leadership and support to Campus Corps service team members while raising community/campus awareness of the OCE and its services. Assist in planning and implementing national service days. Duties and Responsibilities: Primary: ? Assist team members on their primary service assignments and citizenship development activities ? Arrange for or provide training to team members ? Organize opportunities for team building, including team service projects, social opportunities, and reflection ? Coordinate logistics for statewide trainings/events and annual OCE service projects ? Facilitate team meetings ? Assist with trouble-shooting team/group dynamics ? Communicate with partnering agencies ? Make recommendations related to the continuous improvement of the program ? Plan and support projects for national service days, including Martin Luther King Jr Day, National Service Week, Make a Difference Day, etc with the Volunteer and Events Coordinator ? Plan and implement two volunteer fairs for UM each year ? Conduct campus outreach and public relations ? Support America Reads/America Counts fall recruitment efforts with the ARAC coordinator Secondary: ? Send out e-mail updates & reminders ? Attend appropriate OCE meetings & service projects ? Help out with general office tasks as needed and time permits ? Participate in an individualized community service placement Qualifications and Requirements: Bachelor?s degree preferred; excellent communication skills; good writing skills; an ability to work independently; good organizational skills; flexible and creative; strong ethic of service; leadership skills; presentation skills, and a clear understanding of and interest in service learning. Lines of Communication: Directly supervised by the OCE Program Manager. Required Training: ? Three team leader trainings per year ? Three weekend trainings per year, as well as a one-day graduation and training for AmeriCorps ?
