Lead QA Analyst Job Opening in springfield, Missouri - Lead QA Analyst FARRAGUT SYSTEMS, Inc. is looking for a Lead QA Analyst with a proven process improvement background and thorough understanding of quality assurance . The ideal candidate will have experience leading process improvement projects, requirements gathering, software development, software testing, and process management. There will be a stronger emphasis on Process Improvements for all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle than on testing. The Lead QA Analyst will work directly with our division VP to consult with our client(s). The Lead QA Analyst will be responsible for: ? Applying innovative process improvement techniques to develop strategies and/or solutions which will improve the client's business processes ? Analysis of the client's current processes: identifying process gaps and developing plans to reach desired processes ? Performing root cause analysis to improve quality ? Strategizing and leading the test automation effort ? Training, mentoring, coaching, and challenging team members/process owners to drive continuous process improvement ? Developing metrics and measurements for process improvement In addition to the above responsibilities, the candidate will be responsible for: ? Leading a team of quality analysts and working along side the client ? Identifying and prioritizing process improvement opportunities ? Increasing customer satisfaction ? Enhancing employee productivity and skill development Qualifications: ? Bachelor's degree ? 3-5 years of leadership experience in Software Quality Assurance/ Process Improvement ? Ability to work both as an individual contributor and a lead ? Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills ? Self-motivated and ability to work with minimal supervision ? Ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines ? Strong analytical and problem solving skills with innovative thinking in resolving business problems Desired Skills: ? Quality assurance certification (CSQA, Six Sigma Green Belt, or Lean Green Belt) is a plus ? Experience with test automation tools (Microsoft Test Professional, QTP, or Rational) ? Experience with Microsoft SQL Server (write queries, stored procedures) ? Knowledge of Property & Casualty Insurance industry This position is located in Springfield, MO or Durham, North Carolina.
