Outside Sales Representative Job Opening in Coos Bay, Oregon - Outside Sales: Do you have experience managing a route or sales territory? Have you worked in media advertising sales, insurance or any type of Business to Business sales. Have you worked in inside retail sales focused on customer satisfaction? If so you might be a good fit.
We?re looking for an energetic and creative individual to fill an open position in the advertising sales department. Are you someone who can walk into businesses, build relationships with owners and/or managers. The successful salesperson can show business owners how the weekly printed and online products can serve their advertising needs. Developing professional relationships, built on trust in your sound advice will be key. You will have a specific number of appointments and goals to meet each week. You must be extremely organized and detailed with paperwork.
The ideal candidate has previous sales experience, preferably with newspaper and/or other media. Other related sales experience with a proven track record of closing sales and growing customer base also will be considered. Candidate will be aggressive in achieving personal and company goals, and excellent at building professional relationships with customers.
The position is 32 to 35 hours per week 8am to 3 or 3:30 Monday through Friday. Weekends off. A good driving record and dependable transportation are required.
This opportunity has great earning potential for the right salesperson. The position earns both a base pay plus commission. Benefits include gas stipend, sick time, 5 paid holidays, and one week paid vacation.
